Responsibilities

The Solution Engineer is responsible for all technical pre-sales activities interclick.  They will serve as the subject matter experts for interclick products and technologies for external facing clients.  They will also providing training and knowledge base support for the sales team.  As a core member of the sales force, SEs will assist the sales management in developing and improving sales processes and operations.   Additionally, the solution engineers are central to product processes; SEs will work with product development, marketing and analytics departments to ensure the success design and launch of new products and platforms.

Specific duties include

  • Handle all technical and solution-based requirements for client facing sales activities.
  • Assure that interclick solutions are aligned with customer goals.
  • Perform demos and POC of interclick demos for clients.
  • Serve as the external subject matter expert for interclick products.
  • Provide training to sales on product and technology subjects.
  • Assist product, marketing, operations and analytics groups in new product design / launch.
  • Assist sales management in the development of sales operations.
  • Maintain a high level of industry and technical expertise on relevant subjects.

Requirements


The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Minimum of 4 years experience as a Pre-Sales Engineer, Field Engineer, Platform Manager, or other client-facing technical role.
  • At least 2 years working with external sales force.
  • In-depth knowledge of ad serving technologies and HTTP protocols.
  • Be articulate on various prediction, classification and optimization techniques and algorithms.
  • Knowledge of digital ad networks, data providers, market research tools.  Behavioral targeting a definite plus.
  • Excellent Excel, visio and statistical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree (MBA or technical/engineering degree preferred)
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
  • Must be able to travel 25% of the time

Sales Director

The Sales Director is responsible for quota attainment and sales efforts within their assigned territory of direct clients and agencies by evangelizing interclick, cultivating client relationships, and providing specific online marketing solutions.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Consistently meet or exceed monthly revenue quota
  • Identify new business opportunities with direct marketers, online advertisers & agencies
  • Consult with clients on their marketing needs; creatively design and execute comprehensive online advertising programs
  • Develop account strategies to drive long term revenue growth, develop requests for proposal responses and programs, and drive upfront media buying.
  • Generate a high volume of sales related activity including cold calls, presentations, proposals, and client entertainment
  • Build strategic level relationships with clients and agencies and generate high level campaign ideation to meet client goals and objectives.
  • Expand interclick footprint within key accounts by cross selling and up selling product portfolio

Desired Skills & Experience

  • At least 5-10 years of experience in online advertising sales, marketing, media, and interactive.
  • BA/BS degree preferred with a strong academic record.
  • Knowledge of online advertising, audience targeting and optimization strategies including video and display media preferred
  • Strong contacts within the industry and your territory
  • Must be highly motivated and a team player
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong ability to manage large volume of prospecting activity (outbound calls, client meetings, proposals, etc.)
  • Negotiation and closing skills
  • Proficient in MS Office & CRM Software
  • Willing to travel frequently

Regional Vice President of Sales

Los Angeles, CA

Job Description

In this highly visible role, the Regional VP of Sales will report to the SVP, Sales and be a member of the company's executive sales team. The Regional VP of Sales will be responsible for the direction and management of all sales and business development operations in their region, including market/key account analysis, competitive positioning strategy, selling activities, new business development, key account management, among others. The Regional VP of Sales will drive interclick's achievement of its customer acquisition and revenue goals within the assigned territory.

Main responsibilities include

  • Oversee hiring and development of the sales organization, appropriate for the territory's maturity/size
  • Work with Solution Engineer team to establish sales training, product knowledge, and industry expertise
  • Grow profitable sales by driving the development of regional sales strategies.
  • Ensure the optimal implementation of these strategies and their relevant tactics to meet and exceed sales goals.
  • Maintain key agency and direct marketer relationships and develop and implement strategies for expanding the company's customer base.
  • Identify and penetrate new business targets and other sales growth opportunities.
  • Provide regional sales plans, budgets, etc. as required.
  • Recommend policies and procedures to enhance sales, marketing, and operations.
  • Be a role model for the company's business values.

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • At least 10 years of experience in online advertising sales, marketing, media, and interactive.
  • BA/BS degree preferred with a strong academic record.
  • Currently in a Sales Management Role
  • Expert knowledge of online advertising, audience targeting and optimization strategies including video and display media
  • Already have established high level contacts and relationships with potential customers and channel partners in the digital agency and brand ecosystem.
