The company was founded by Michael Katz in 2004 with the help of a couple of his fraternity brothers from Syracuse University along a gifted team of developers including his brother Andrew. Since then, the company has grown to become a leading ad network in a short amount due to the success of its transparent platform and advanced targeting capabilities. interCLICK currently maintains over a hundred active advertiser relationships, approximately a thousand publisher relationships and is the 10th largest ad network according to comScore Media Metrix (October 2007).
Due to the rapid success of the network, interCLICK was acquired by a group of investors led by industry veterans in August 2007 who took the company public in October 2007. The company is traded under the ticker;
